For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power.  1 Corinthians 4:20

I’ve been through a number of group facilitations, as a member and as a facilitator. These start with a “there are no wrong answers” brainstorming session, followed by a time of coalescing shared values, the generation of a concise mission statement, then boiling it all down into a memorable and fitting slogan and logo. The group and facilitator may be proud of themselves as they view the fruit of their labors, but Paul says, “the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power.”
